There are so many lockscreens in the world of windows mobile and all of them are looking so similar. The developer of PocketShield (JDB Pocketware) created something new in this section. There is no sliding button or sliding bar, here you have a sliding screen. To unlock your phone you need to slide the screen up or down. In the settings you can set if you want to unlock with sliding down, up or with both directions. Even the unlock limit is customizable, so set the limit to 50% to unlock screen after sliding the background up to half. Cool thing is what the dev is calling the “Eye-Candy effect”. If you activate this setting you will see your homescreen while sliding the lockscreen away. But there are more opportunities to unlock your device. Thanks to the different sensors which are nearly in the most modern smartphones you are able to unlock your phone with movement gestures. So you can set up to unlock the screen if you flip your phone face down and then up or slide it to one side. If you have a proximity (like on HD2 or Touch Pro2) or a light sensor you are able to lock your phone automatically when you put the phone in your pocket and unlock it when you take it out. If you want to prevent that some unauthorized people use your phone you can use the pin-lock. This function is although very customizable, so you can set up a time after that the screen locks up with the pin.
